(More customer reviews)This is the best stand that I could find. There aren't that many metal stands on the market and this one is very well made. I believe on their website it is cheaper then Amazon so research prices before buying. I can hold all types of sizes easily and it sews great whether it is on my expensive Brother embroidery or my wonderful 50 year old Singer Featherweight machine. This is the best way to use economical large spools of thread.

Superior Threads Heavy Duty Thread Stand lets you use the large cone-shaped spools of thread that wouldn't normally fit on your machine. Steel- A sturdy metal base weights the stand down while a central metal rod will hold the thread, and a 17" long pole with a "loop" at the top lets you run the thread into your machine at the correct height. Can be dismantled for travel.
