(More customer reviews)I bought two of the Hot Fix rhinestone Motifs, stars and fish, to apply to wrapping paper and a greeting card (they can also be applied to clothing or any other flat surface that doesn't melt when ironed.) They are pretty and easy to apply. First you peel away the white plastic backing, and apply the rhinestone design sticky-side down, then hold an iron (no steam) down on the clear plastic strip. No directions come with the motifs, so I set the iron to 'cotton' and held it down for about three minutes.
Unfortunately, when I peeled off the clear plastic strip, some of the rhinestones came off with the strip and failed to adhere to the paper. I think one problem may be that the rhinestones are different sizes--only the small rhinestones failed to set, possibly because the iron was resting on the larger (higher) rhinestones and the smaller ones didn't get enough heat to melt their glue backings. It's hard to say, because of the lack of instruction sheet. I finally ended up gluing on the loose rhinestones with a soldering iron Hot Fix Applicator Wand.
If I do experiment with another Hot Fix Motif, I'll try a higher heat setting on my iron. This product could really use an instruction sheet.

Hot fix deisgn is easy to apply to clothing and many other items that can be ironed.Simply peel the white backing off the deisgn, place the design and clear heat resistant plastic sticky side down on your garment.Cover with pressing cloth and iron for 1-2 minutes.Remove clear plastic from the design and you are complete!It only takes a couple of minutes to turn that plain shirt into a blinged customized item!T-shirt is not included and is only for display purposes.
