I routinely pack a 32 oz bottle of water, a 4"4 Tupperware container with cereal, another with lunch, a container of milk and two snacks and my wallet. Yes, it really does hold all that.
If I had to find a negative, I would have asked that the handles were longer. The bag does go over the shoulder but with a jacket on its not always an easy fit.
