(More customer reviews)I recently made eighteen yards of bias tape with this tape maker - it was a breeze. It's easy to use and the finished result looks really good. If your desired end result is double-fold bias tape, remember that you will need to fold it again after it's initial run through the tape maker and iron it at the center fold. The finished border on your garment or quilt will be one inch wide. Clover is the only company I could find that manufactures this two inch size bias tape maker.

(More customer reviews)I really like my Siplicity Bias Tape Machine, but the 2 1/2 " quilt binding tip is a waste of money. I had expected that it was going to make 2 1/2 " bias tape for quilt borders, but it does not. All it does is to take a 2 1/2 " strip, and fold it in half. It is difficult to load the fabric into the tip, so just folding the strip in half and using a standard iron would be way easier. Do not waste your money on this tip. If you are thinking about buying a Bias Tape Machine with the idea of using it for 2 1/2 " borders, you will be disappointed.
