Dimensions PaintWorks/Paint By Number White Tailed Deer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I buy a lot of Dimensions paintings, and they have all been very fun to paint. This painting is very detailed, high-quality, and realistic. I think it would be too difficult for children under the age of 13 because of all the tiny details. Since it comes with only one paint brush, you may need to purchase a brush with a finer tip for the smaller areas on the painting. Overall, I had a lot of fun painting this, and it turned out beautiful. The colors blend very well, and it is fun to create the mixed colors. I would recommend this to anyone who likes paint-by-number kits or painting.

Dimensions Paint By Number Kit (16" X 20") - in your choice of designs Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This was somewhat of a nostalgic purchase for me. I did many of these paint by number sets, starting in elementary school and on through high school, but they apparently stopped selling them at places like Wal-Mart, Target, and Walgreens. I searched for them on Amazon.com on a whim and was delighted to find thousands! I enjoy doing paint by number to pass the time at home, as I spend my days looking after my mother, who sleeps a lot. They serve their purpose beautifully.

Dimensions PaintWorks/Pencil by Number, Flower and Pets Variety Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The PencilWorks flowers and pets color by number is difficult to do. All pictures/canvases are beautiful. However, there is no numbers on the canvas itself. The numbers your supposed to use are on the directions making it difficult to find the flower or item you are coloring and what color to color it. Both me and my 9 year old were very frustrated with this one because the pictures are so beautiful, but in order to make them as you see on the box will be close to impossible. If you don't mind trying to figure out from the directions what color goes where then I would purchase this because it's an empty canvas with no numbers.

Dimensions Pencil By Number Kit (9" X 12") - in your choice of designs Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The picture shows a fairly detailed amount of shading with the colors. HOWEVER, the shading is achieved by BLENDING -- with PENCILS. There were only 10 (yes ten) colored pencils total and a grey and black short pencil in the one I bought. this is more of a dollar tree item than the 4.79. I was disappointed.

Dimensions PaintWorks/Paint By Number Wise Owl Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Dimensions makes the best paint by number kits in my opinion. The paints are usually arranged in small pots in a flexible circular fashion so you don't have to cut the paint pots apart like some PBN kits. I am always pleased with the outcome once framed and they seem to be appreciated as gifts. The colors sometimes need to be stirred a bit but usually are just right in texture and coverage except for some of the lighter colors. Those might need two coats but the printed copy of the pattern keeps you on track should you make a mistake. I mix the colors on my divided palette or sometimes just use a disposable foam plate. It is easy to mix the colors and I am always pleased with the outcome. Other manufacturers of PBN kits just don't measure up.
