(More customer reviews)The hoop itself is inexpensive, but the cost of shipping was murder. I had to order this online because all craft stores seem to be switching to plastic hoops. The plastic hoops come in tacky colors, which is fitting since plastic is tacky. I like the old-timey look and feel of a wooden hoop fer my craftin', yesirree. The wood grips the fabric securely. It's easy to use. A 4" hoop is great for stitching little things on dish towels and onesies and such, but I would like to get a slightly larger one for, um, slightly larger things. Really, what else is there to say? If you have a specific question about this item, just ask.
Oh, yeah. It's hecho in China, if that matters to you.
