Q Snaps are user and AIDA cloth friendly, come in many different sizes and can be taken apart and used to construct a new frame in whatever size you need. Unlike most hoops, Q Snaps don't leave behind crimping marks on your cloth and you don't have to loosen or take the whole thing off to tighten your fabric.

Q-Snap frames are made from PVC tubing making them lighter and more durable than other materials. The clamp design for holding the fabric is gentle and simple to use. The ribbed inner surface of the Q-snap clamps hold the tension for your preferred adjustment. Simply turn the clamp outward to tighten or inward to loosen. Measures 11 x 11 inches.

Easy to put together, nicely made (its hard wood and I was concerned about rough edges, but its really nicely sanded and treated), its very easy to put the item you are working on in the clamp, and it is also easy to adjust the angle to get really comfy. I am working on a large cross stitch peice roughly 2feet by 1.5 feet which I have in a 17 by 17 inch frame and this stand holds it easily. It folds down to a really manageable size and so I plan to take it with me when I go on vacation in August. I can have it on my lap and put my feet up on the recliner so my back is so much happier. Highly recommended.
