(More customer reviews)I would have given this 3 stars instead of 4, but it looks so pretty! The cons are that the rings they give you are cheap pieces of crap that break VERY easily and have to be replaced. The covers for the rings are not hemmed closed on the end so when you take them off and put them on the new rings, they start to fray and unravel. I suggest "fray check", a fabric glue that lockes the threads together like super glue. No sewing required and the covers bunch up on the ring, so you won't see the ends (makes the fabric that you use it on slightly darker sometimes). Also, the liner is VERY flimsy and easily tears. But I just bought another one and that was that. If this didn't have those cons I mentioned, it would have recieved 5 stars.

Make sure you buy the correct brand for your machine. I would not try to switch from brother to singer. This is a reasonable price. When you buy them separate from machine they cost more. (More customer reviews)This cone thread holder is a simple device that saves me a lot of money by letting me use cone thread rather than regular spools. I use the holder on daily basis and it works perfectly. I was surprised to see some negative reviews, I did not encounter the issued described.
Cone thread holder holds a cone of thread on the metal dowel inserted into its middle. A tall arm holds the thread to the level that allows normal spooling into the machine.
I use the holder for two purposes:
(1) I use it to hold the top thread when I am sewing.
(2) I use it to wind the bobbin thread while the thread is coming from the cone on the holder.
I recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)I have purchsed several stitching stands that were inadequate or just wouldn't function with a recliner. I even bought one that was designed to work specifically with recliners. I've wasted hundreds of dollars until I found this stand.
I am an avid advanced cross-stitcher and can sometimes stitch in excess of 12 hours a day when I'm in the middle of a project. This stand is so easy to use. My hands and arms never get tired from repeatedly having to change positions from top to bottom to complete stitches. I can easily have one hand on top of the work and one beneath it. This allows me to stitch more efficiently and it keeps my threads from frequently twisting. I love how it can accomodate several sizes of scroll frames. I can adjust the distance my work is away from me or pull the stand close up if I need too. It is very comfortable to sit on and doesn't impeded circulation or cause any discomfort. I stitch in a recliner and this is the only stand that works to my satisfaction.
It's worth EVERY cent!

Its a little difficult seperating and threading the needle at first, but you'll get used to it. Theres more then enough thread if you need it and the instructions are pretty easy to follow. The needle is a regular metal one, not one of those plastic safe ones. The little round ring holds it taut and in place while you stitch. A fun little project to teach you the basics of a couple types of stitching. A template is given and you can trace the outline easily.

Hemline Two-Bag Trolley Set Review

(More customer reviews)I have a small house, and I do not have my own sewing room (bummer); so, storage is a major hassle for me. I do not like hard vinyl sewing machine cases (they are just ugly and not all machines fit in all cases - I know, I got stuck with a few). I have to keep my machine and sewing supplies in my living room; so, I was THRILLED when I found a beautiful sewing machine case - with an extra bag (which holds everything - or it can even be used to carry my laptop if I am traveling, or act as a piece of luggage). This second piece holds any extra supplies, tools, or "works in progress". I LOVE THIS SET!
Reasons to buy this Trolley Set are numerous, but for me, here are my top two:
1. It's very attractive, and I bought the burgundy set since it blended in with my furniture (ok, not a great reason for seasoned seamstresses, but for me it was!);
2. This set is HUGE! I can safely store my old Baby-Lock 1550 in there, plus my coordinating canvas thread case, which can also found at JoAnn Fabrics. This extra thread case (purchased separately for about $15) holds about 20 spools of thread, plus: my bobbin collection, scissors, etc. AND it as several "see-thru" pockets to store other things, too.
The Trolley Set is FULL of hidden pockets (and it's extremely well-cushioned with added support panels to keep my machine safe) to store all kinds of stuff and STILL has room for my cutting mats (behind my sewing machine, where I also keep my thread case).
Honestly, I can put EVERYTHING I need inside the one wheeled bag alone, and the extra bag is a "gift" to hold everything else.
When I go over to a friend's house to sew, I have EVERYTHING right at my fingertips; plus, I look good when traveling, too. At home, the trolley set is very convenient and also helps to keep me organized.
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I'd very highly recommend it to anyone (even if they DO have a very nice, large, and elaborate sewing room).
For me, I call this "my portable sewing room" and I LOVE IT!
Just a final comment: There are "other bags" out there that MAY LOOK like this... but Hemline's superior design and construction set it WORLD'S APART. Never compromise!
Buy it - you'll be glad you did!!
