I have returned mine as it reflects light differently than the floss seems to. It is difficult with the new card (impossible, really) to match colors or find substitutes. I opened the kit this morning and it took me 2 hours to just untangle the thread. Singer 4205.CL Inspiration 5-Stitch Mechanical Sewing Machine Review

(More customer reviews)I always considered Singer to have good machines- after all, theyve been around FOREVER! Practically an american trademark no? Well, my hubby bought me this machine for christmas and I loved it at first! Was SO much better than my Pixie I was used to! Weeeeell, not long after I started using it, it started messing up. My stitches were very loose and loopy at the bottom, rethreaded helped sometimes. Adjusting the tension did nothing. Then in the middle of sewing a STRIAGHT LINE I heard a loud CLICK and it stopped sewing. The timing was off. On my brand new sewing machine. Absouletely ridiculous! Definitely NOT an operator error! I was doing nothing different at the time, just sewing a plain straight stitch using a lightweight COTTON material! >.< SO I called Singer and tried to get them to uphold thier 90 day unlimited warranty. No such luck! For them to uphold thier warranty, I would either have to spend $40 to ship it to the nearest warranty center or drive 3 hours to get there! What lousy customer service! Not helpful WHATSOEVER. FUrthermore, I was told it was MY FAULT. 0.o Defintely not my fault.
So, I went to return it to Joanns. I was given the run around and after contacting thier headquarters and the local overseer I was able to exchange it for a different machine, same model though as I was convinced it was simply a defect. Nope this one gives me the SAME problems. Same damn things. And its remarkable the thing breask RIGHT AFTER the unlimited warranty expires! I will never buy a Singer machine again. Total crap in my opinion. I now have a Janome Machine on the way after hearing wonderful things about Janome.
I learned how to sew at a VERY young age on my grandmothers commercial sewing machines. Then had a machine all growing up that flooded during a hurricane. (Brother machine). This was the first brand I have EVRE had problems with. Im very dissapointed too since I had such high expectations... Its a pretty machine, but all it gave me was frustrations and tears. Not worth it. Definitely NOT WORTH IT.

Floral Embroidered Faux Silk Curtain Panel 63 - 95 Inch Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this item because it looked quite eloquent in the model photo. Few things:
(1) The prices listed are for ONE panel, so be mindful of that. (Somewhat obvious but meh.)
(2) I bought the brown one and it is not NEARLY as dark as is shown in the model picture. It's not creamy and silky looking at all.
(3) It's pretty transparent. It's very dark in the picture and is covering a window with lots of light coming through, yet nothing is really coming through the curtain. The actual color is more like that of a brown paper bag, perhaps lighter. It blocks some light, but not much. (I wasn't looking for black-out curtains but I wanted some that wouldn't leave my room completely bright.)
I'm going to see about returning them right now.
Conclusion: They're not BAD but they're not what I am looking for.

(More customer reviews)My wife needed a simple basic sewing machine to repair and make adjustments to our clothes. We decided on this model based on the low price and the Singer name. As we understand there are more Singer machines in service than all other brands together.
We found the DVD that came with the machine very helpful and between that and the owner's manual the setup was easy. Since then she is using it from time to time and, as it fulfills all our needs at an affordable price, we must give it a high rating.
We would have hated to pay more for a sewing machine with more features that we were not going to use. This is a good reliable machine that fulfills our need for simplicity and ease of operation.

(More customer reviews)Just bought this coverhem machine from Kens Sewing. Five minutes after unpack I had a lovely, perfect 8" coverhem sample. That was yesterday. Today I have a lovely, new t-shirt with painless, perfect hems and bound neckline compliments of this machine.
The machine isn't high-end (results are tho) but I'm thinking that it's going to help me puzzle out why my 4yo, $1500 Bernina overlock/chain/coverstitch can't make--never has--anywhere near an acceptable coverstitch let alone a chainstitch.
High-end, schmi-end. This.Bro.works.good
Oh, and, Ken has the best price (far as I can tell) in the US. Also, having fumbled the initial order I created an immediate customer service test. Ken and crew passed w/flying colors. I am one happy camper.
