(More customer reviews)Sulky thread is my favorite thread - it has a wonderful texture when the work is completed, and I often get compliments on my completed pieces which I am sure at least partially can be attributed to this wonderful thread.
It is easy to work with and does not get torn easily. I use it for both quilting and embroidery as the top thread (using another matching in color thread in the bobbin to cut down on overall cost).
This is one of my favorite vari-light colors, the shades of yellow-to-brown blend beautifully. It makes wonderful fall leaves color in my art quilts!

I have used DMC perle cotton for 30 years plus, and feel this thread is as nice if not better. It is a little more tightly twisted than the DMC, and glides through linen fabric with ease.

4 X-Large Spools of White Bobbin Thread. These are 60wt 2ply Filament Bobbin Thread. Each spool has 5000 meters of thread on it. This will last you a long long time and you do not need to worry about running out of Bobbin thread while Embroidering. Each spool is brand new and is individually shrink wrapped to prevent damage from dust. Polyester has little or no lint. Hence your machine will run longer between cleanings. This thread is very shiny appearance, thin, lightweight and yet extremely strong. Embroiders love this since it creates a soft backing, even on dense designs. Many machine quilters like using a filament poly thread in the bobbin. Due to it's slick surface, it works well with metallic threads and heavy cotton threads. (More customer reviews)Great buy for the price. The colors are very vivid and a good selection for someone just starting. The thread performed well in my Brother machine. The description states that it is "for Brother" but the spools do not have the Brother numbers on them. They are made by Kolors so therefore have their numbering system on them.
The only thing that I would change is the spools, they have no built-in way to secure the end of the thread. But considering the price you pay, you can put up with the cheaper spools
The supplier provided excellent service. Two hours after placing the order I received an email saying the order was processed and was given a tracking number... GREAT turn-around time! I would not hesitate at all to buy anything from C & C Sales NY Inc. again. Their customer service was prompt and courteous, even after the sale when they helped me find a conversion chart for the Kolors Thread Collection.

(More customer reviews)Awesome colors and a wide variety. Little dissapointed that there was only 4 blues out of all of the colors. If you have a brother sd200 the disney sewing machine the spools will not fit in the cartridge unless you modify the spools. The base is too large and will not fit unless you cut the plastic ring off the bottom. Not a huge issue for me but it takes a lot of time and energy to modify it. Other then that I am very happy with the quality of the thread and the colors.

(More customer reviews)The thread ad was a little deceptive. They advertised as thread for Brother machines, which it isn't exactly. They never would give me a definite yes or no on the thread being made for Brother by Brother. I specifically asked them that and they said they had not had any negative responses from Brother owners. That wasn't what the ad stated. It stated thread for Brother machines. The best I could find out was, that it was made in India, but they wouldn't specifically say it was made by Brother for Brother machines. When I received it, at first I was a little disappointed, then I e-mailed them and they told me to give a few spools a try and if I wasn't completely satisfied with it, I could return it and they would refund my money. I thought that was reasonable and gave it a try and it stitched out beautifully. So I thanked them and kept the thread. The only problem was breakage, it seems a little weak, but using a large eyed embroidery needle took care of that.They told me to adjust my tensions on my machine, but I didn't need to touch the tensions by using the larger eyed embroidery needle. Overall, it's basically good thread, beautiful colors and shine to it.
