However I had two problems with using it
1) I have more bobbins than fit into the holders
2) I had to find place for it, it seemed to always be in the way
I found an alternative solution that works for me better. I use one of my thread racks like this one 120 Spool Wood Thread Rack - By Threadart for bobbins. I can fit three bobbins on every peg. So I dedicated three rows to bobbins with three bobbin on top of each, organized by color (light, medium, dark on each peg for that color). The colors are easy to see and bobbins are well organized, so when I need a shade I know exactly where to find it. The rack hangs on the wall, so it is accessible but totally out of the way.

(More customer reviews)This nicely designed market tote is useful for keeping craft projects like knitting, crocheting, or needlework handy by your favorite comfy chair and durable enough it could even be used as a picnic basket or a basket you could take on a shopping trip. I would not recommend this basket for toy storage for small children as it does pose a pinching injury hazard to small children, but older kids could use this basket safely.
Collapsible and folds flat for storage, it includes 4 plastic stabilizers that you slide into external fitted pockets that help the basket remain upright. The cloth basket body is attached to the aluminum frame with Velcro hook and loop closures making it easy to remove and wash when soiled (be sure to remove the plastic stabilizers prior to washing, and I would recommend air drying instead of drying in a clothes dryer).
The convenient inside zipper pocket is perfect for small notions or anything else you'd like to store in it. The removable nature of the cloth basket also makes it easy to personalize with embroidery, fabric paint, felt appliqués, etc. Other features include a non-skid bottom with molded feet. I bought two of these and I love them, I plan to purchase a couple more. Very versatile and comes in several colors, a great gift idea would be to fill it with bath and body items or craft items, top it with a bow for that favorite gal in your life!
